Shipping Updates

Hey Team Avatar! Happy New Year! We hope you had a great holiday season if you celebrated, enjoyed some time with friends and family, ate great food, and played some fun games!

Let’s dive into our update for every region!

Regional Shipping Updates

Australia & New Zealand: All but 200 orders have already been shipped. These last orders will go out before January 20th (once the last of the inventory reaches our fulfillment center). If you are in this region and don’t receive a shipping notification by January 20th, please use the form to report your package missing.

UK: All but 600 orders have already been shipped. These last orders will go out in the next week. If you haven’t received a shipping email by January 20th, please use the form to report your package missing.

EU: EU shipping is continuing to progress steadily; some packages have been held up as our shipping partner resolved EU VAT issues, but the remaining packages will ship over the next week. If you haven’t received a shipping email by January 20th, please use the form to report your package missing.

USA: Orders are shipping right now! There were a few small delays from the holidays and several weather events. Shipping emails are going out, though they are delayed from when an order is marked as shipped to when the email goes out. We are working on resolving this delay with our partners. We expect the majority of shipping to be complete in the next week. If you have not received a shipping email by January 20th, please use the form on the shipping update to report it.

There is a delay with Peurto Rican orders. We’re waiting on news from our fulfillment partners and will comment here when we have an update.

Canada: Canadian orders were slightly delayed due to the weather and holidays. Orders are currently shipping from our fulfillment partner! If you haven’t received a shipping notification by January 20th, please use the form on the shipping update to report it.

Asia, Africa, and the Middle East: The delays impacting these regions continue. Unfortunately, part of the product is stuck in customs and we cannot begin shipping until it arrives. Further delays have happened because Covid has hit the region and everything is moving incredibly slow. Additionally, our fulfillment partner has closed for Lunar New Year. Once they reopen and customs clears our product, shipping will begin. We’re sorry we don’t have better news for these regions and will continue to get updates to you.

Latin America: These orders are already shipping and many have received their orders. There are some issues with Brazilian orders and we are working with our fulfillment partner to figure out what happened and course correct, as well as work with those impacted to ensure a satisfactory solution happens. If you are one of the people impacted by the mislabeling issues in Brazil, please use the form to let us know. If you haven’t received a shipping notification by January 31st, please use the form on the shipping update to report it.

Thank you to everyone who has used the form to let us know about damaged products! Replacements will go out in each region once initial fulfillment has finished.

Avatar Legends Retail Date

While we know many of you are still waiting for your orders, it’s important to talk about when the game will be available at your friendly local game stores!

Avatar Legends official street date, the date when it will be for sale in all stores, is January 25th. We are confident most backers will have their rewards before this date. Please tell your friends who are interested to look for it in stores then!

Gaming stores that backed the Kickstarter will be able to sell the copies they received as backers starting today, January 11th. These stores are being given the opportunity to sell the game before locations that didn’t back the project as a thank you for their support. If you see the game available in a local gaming store, it’s because they backed the project like you did! A huge thank you to our FLGS backers! We’re so excited you supported the project!

Unlock Your Avatar Legends Nexus

Please don't forget to unlock your Avatar Legends NEXUS as soon as you can! In order to help make sure every last backer gets access to the NEXUS, we have extended the deadline for code redemption to Feb 28th, 2023!

Hey Team Avatar! We’re back from the holidays! Thank you so much for supporting us as we got some much needed rest and recovered! We’re excited to dive back in and are here with an exciting update for our Canadian backers: Canada is shipping!

For those folks wanting updates about shipping not related to Canada, we’ll be back soon with a new update for everyone!

Canada Shipping

Our fulfillment partner for Canada has begun packing and shipping! Packages will begin going out shortly!

You will receive tracking information via email from Universal. This email will go to the email address associated with your Backerkit account.

Once you receive your tracking information, your package is ready to ship and will be sent out within a few days. You will receive your carrier information at this time.

Packages should arrive within two weeks after you receive your shipping notification. There may be some delay with packages due to the winter holidays. Please be patient during the holiday season.

Your order will include everything from your pledge and any add-ons you added during the campaign or in Backerkit after the fact.

Reporting An Issue

Shipping is happening but sometimes things go wrong. This can include a missing item in your order, a damaged item in your order, or your package not showing up. For those issues, please follow these instructions:

If your shipping notification is showing a different address than you entered in Backerkit, please use this form.

If you’re missing an item from your order, use this form. Please include what item is missing from your order specifically (ex: core book, combat deck, standard dice, etc.)

If you have a damaged item in your order, use this form. Please include a picture of the damaged item, showing how it is damaged.

United States Shipping

Our fulfillment partner for the United States has begun packing and shipping! Unlike other countries, the United States shipping is divided into six different regions. Regions will begin shipping when all the product is at the fulfillment center until all six regions in the United States is complete. The first region to ship is the East Coast.

Please keep in mind that we are shipping over 50,000 packages within the United States. While things are moving quickly, it will take time to ship out every package. Please be patient as you wait for your tracking email to arrive.

Hey Team Avatar! We’re back already with an update on Latin America shipping! Namely, that it’s happening RIGHT NOW! Yip yip!

Latin America Shipping

Our fulfillment partner for Latin America has already begun packing and shipping!

You will receive tracking information via email from Devir. This email will go to the email address associated with your Backerkit account.

Once you receive your tracking information, your package is ready to ship and will be sent out within a few days. FedEx will be the carrier for your packages.

Packages should arrive within two weeks after you receive your shipping notification. There may be some delay with packages due to the winter holidays. Please be patient during the holiday season.

Your order will include everything from your pledge and any add-ons you added during the campaign or in Backerkit after the fact.

Latin American backers are responsible for the taxes and customs fees incurred with their packages. Because we are shipping under DAP terms, FedEx will contact you directly (usually via a phone call) once the package has arrived at their facility inside a designated transit zone within your destination’s airport. FedEx will ask you whether you want FedEx to clear the goods with customs or not. Consignees have always the option to select their own customs broker for customs clearance, although this is not recommended.
